IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a CONTRACT INTERMEDIATE LEVEL HUMAN RESOURCES ADVISOR for either our Edmonton, AB or Brantford, ON location for a 6 month contract.
This role will include the following and may or may not be limited to:
Performance Management – this would be have guidance / support if needed.
Strong Labor Relations and Employment Legislation Standards.
Safety Administration – entering Data with Base knowledge.
Ensure compliance with all required legislation such as the Alberta Labor Standards
Post-secondary education in Human Resources and/or Business
A CPHR or working towards the designation is preferred
Working knowledge of Canadian employment standards legislation and progressive HR policies and practices
Strong business acumen with the ability to assess situations not only from an HR perspective but also from a business perspective
Highly proactive and has demonstrated an ability to make things happen
Analytical with strong problem solving skills and a simple practical approach
A self-motivated individual who can operate autonomously but also as part of a team
Demonstrated superior communication skills, conflict resolution skills, tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
The ability to build trust and work effectively with employees at all levels in the organization
Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
