IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a DIRECTOR OF FINANCE for our Windsor area, ON client.
Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner
Clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements to Management and the Board of Directors
Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts such as profit and loss statements and cash flow projections for use by internal management and external parties
Oversee the audit and tax functions as well as coordinate activities with outside audit firms
Develop, implement and maintain accounting and administrative policies and procedures for financial accounting and reporting
Ensure that the billing and collections schedules are adhered to and that the financial data and cash flow are steady and support the operational requirements
Lead the annual budgeting and planning process
Review all financials plans and budgets and monitor the progress and changes while keeping senior leadership team well-informed of the financial status
Masters/Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field
Professional Accounting Designation is required
5-7 years of management experience, preferably in the consumer product or manufacturing industry
Expertise in Excel and/or SAP
Must be extremely organized and motivated
Must have integrity, excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a strong desire to be a part of a vibrant, growing company.
