BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PROJECT MANAGER, WINNIPEG, MB, CANADA – #5071

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a BIOPHARMACEUTICAL PROJECT MANAGER for our Winnipeg, MB client.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Project Management (single or more complex):

Create project plan documentation – Baseline, Risk Management, Gantt charts.

Form and supervise cross-functional project teams to achieve project deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

Manage the contractual, technical and financial requirements of each project with general instructions

Day-to-day project management – meetings, minutes, plus.

Monitor and evaluate project team deliverables, convey to client.

Problem solve.

Help teams handle issues and risk mitigation strategies.

Financing, budgeting of projects:

Budgeting, revenues, forecasting and review of financial reports.

Keeping track of project size in terms of any changes in time, quality, or cost.

Keeping senior managers, clients apprised of project progress.

Presentations, updates, suggestions re project progress – such as risk planning, goals, milestones, variation in scope or financing.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Qualified candidates will have a minimum of post-secondary education, preferably in Business or Science related fields.

At least 2 years of Project Management experience, preferably in either the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology industry.

Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

Able to influence others, take the initiative, and demonstrate flexibility.

Focus on results and able to handle complicated technical, economic, and contract issues.

Must be Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident or have a valid work permit.

Prefer local candidates but may consider relocation across Canada.
