Your Next Opportunity: Project Manager

The Project Manager is a mid-level project management position responsible for overseeing projects from planning through completion and ensuring client satisfaction by delivering top-notch service. You’ll manage small to medium projects or one large project, supporting senior project management.

*This is an on-site position with requirements to be in the office when not traveling.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Plan and organize projects under the guidance of a Senior Project Manager or Division Manager.

Supervise project activities, including assigning tasks to Assistant Project Managers, coordinating efforts, and resolving issues.

Lead initial client contact, assess the scope of work, schedule, and resources required for successful project completion.

Prepare detailed estimates and review plans and bid forms for selected projects.

Set project objectives, policies, and performance standards in line with corporate guidelines.

Supervise change order preparation and negotiation.

Ensure the project is completed on time and within budget by working with the onsite Foreman and Area Superintendent.

Prepare monthly cost reports and manage financial aspects, including progress billing and expenses.

Review documentation from Assistant Project Managers before submission.

Represent the company in project meetings under supervision.

The Successful Candidate will have:

  • Professional appearance and conduct.
  • Strong performance management skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), Accubid, and Oracle preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and effective team player.
  • Ability to interact professionally with employees, vendors, and clients.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related discipline (preferred).
  • At least 3 years of experience in construction project management.
  • A combination of relevant work experience, education, and training is acceptable.
