IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently looking to hire a SENIOR ELECTRICAL ENGINEER/DESIGNER for our London/Kingston/Kitchener, ON client. (HYBRID)
Our client, is an experienced design firm specializing in system designs for commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial, and transportation industries, offering flexible, client-focused solutions tailored to project needs and budgets. With over 600 years of combined engineering and design expertise, our client brings extensive knowledge and adaptability to every project.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Design and draft drawings in AutoCAD and REVIT – electrical design requirements will include:
Power distribution and generation systems
Lighting (indoor and outdoor) and lighting control systems
Fire Alarm Systems
Voice/data communications, Security/CCTV systems, public address, nurse call, and related infrastructure
Communicate with clients, contractors, and sales reps, preparing project documentation, and coordinating with other engineering disciplines,
Conduct site visits/reviews and construction phase services
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Project management experience or a desire to grow into a project manager.
- 10+ years of electrical design experience in the building construction industry and at least 5 years of design experience in Ontario.
- Pro-active approach to problem-solving and communicating with others
- Ability to multi-task and be organized, especially under the stress of deadlines
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective communicator
- Strong desire to work within a team and develop the skills of the team
- University degree in Electrical Engineering
