SENIOR ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER, BEAUMONT, TX, USA – #5644
IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently looking to hire a SENIOR ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER for our Beaumont, TX client.
We seek an experienced Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer to enhance equipment safety, reliability, and performance at our facility. This role requires expertise in rotating equipment, condition monitoring, turbo equipment repair/maintenance, and managing small to medium projects.
This role is 100% on site.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Troubleshoot and optimize API & ANSI pumps, large steam turbines, and centrifugal compressors.
Implement reliability strategies, including real-time vibration analysis, efficiency monitoring, and lubrication analysis.
Lead cross-functional teams in root cause analysis, unplanned incident investigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Provide technical support for Operations, Maintenance, and Project Engineering.
Develop scopes for equipment repair, maintenance, and outages, and assess new technologies to enhance reliability.
Review project design packages, conduct risk assessments, and develop reliability-centered maintenance plans.
Works with Project Engineering to ensure reliability and maintainability of new and modified Rotating Equipment installations.
Participate in pre-commissioning and commissioning activities and provide technical support for major capital Rotating Equipment projects.
The ideal candidate will perform engineering duties related to identification and managing asset reliability risks that could adversely affect plant or business operations. This broad primary role may be divided into three smaller, more manageable roles: Unplanned Loss Elimination, Risk Management and Life Cycle Asset Management (LCAM).
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering.
- 10+ years’ experience in chemical, petrochemical, or continuous process industries.
- 10+ years’ Experience with rotating equipment maintenance and reliability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and System 1 EVO.
- Strong problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC)
Preferred:
- CMRP or CRL certification.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- Experience in continuous process industry a plus, preferably chemicals or oil refining.
