Plant Maintenance Manager
North Dumfries, ON | New Material Recovery Facility (MRF)
This is an opportunity to lead maintenance operations at a newly built, state-of-the-art Material Recovery Facility. You’ll play a pivotal role in driving uptime, reliability, and performance in a high-tech, fast-paced industrial environment.

What You’ll Own
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of maintenance technicians
- Drive preventive and predictive maintenance strategies to maximize uptime
- Oversee troubleshooting and repair of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems
- Ensure equipment is restored safely, efficiently, and right the first time
- Manage CMMS, parts inventory, and maintenance analytics
- Support startup, commissioning, and optimization of new equipment
- Partner with vendors and contractors on upgrades and specialized projects
- Own maintenance planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance management
- Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and operational excellence
- Ensure compliance with corporate, environmental, and OHSA standards
What You Bring
- 7+ years of progressive maintenance experience
- 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership capacity
- Strong background in industrial or manufacturing environments (waste/recycling experience an asset)
- Hands-on knowledge of conveyors, screens, optical sorters, and automated systems
- Trade certification (Red Seal, Millwright, or equivalent) preferred
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Salary
$100,000 – $115,000 plus bonus DOE
