IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a PHYSIOTHERAPIST for our Olds, AB client.

Are you a dynamic physiotherapist looking to join a team of like-minded practitioners? Our client is a busy sports medicine clinic looking to add to their team. A full time or part time physiotherapist with an interest in sports medicine or orthopedics is in need. Our client currently has physiotherapy, athletic therapy and massage therapy at the clinic. They work together as a team to get patients back to optimal health. New grads are welcome to apply.

As a physiotherapist you will have a maximum for 2-3 clients/hour to allow you to provide your clients with a high quality of care. There are admin and clinic assistant staff to help get your patients back to optimal health.

Our client has a good network of referrals in town, with teams and organizations affiliated with them and doctors who like to refer to them.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Perform clinical assessments, set goals and provide treatment plans for clients

Initiate appropriate treatment intervention based on clinical assessment

Provide ongoing evaluation of client progress

Communicate to appropriate referral sources and stakeholders

Treat people from all walks of life, from the injured worker to the Olympic level athlete

Continually look to stay ahead of the curve and offer the most advanced treatment options for patients (reach beyond your capabilities)

Our client’s office has been using EMR for 3 years now, allowing for a much more stream-lined approach to charting, billing and scheduling

Each clinician can have access to a tablet computer to allow them to chart while working with clients

QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a licensed physiotherapist with registration in Alberta

Interest and experience in sports medicine or orthopedics an asset

Certification in IMS/Dry Needling/acupuncture or other manual skills and asset, but not necessary.

Excellent time management and organizational skills and able to work independently

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Strong skills in critical thinking, decision making and analysis

The ability to work collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team

A progressive approach – you don’t rest on your laurels
