IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a RESIDENT SERVICE DIRECTOR for our Edmonton, AB client.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As the Resident Services Director, you will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members!

You will be responsible for overseeing the Building Services (maintenance), Housekeeping, Resident Relations, Front Desk teams at our community • This includes giving direction to the Building Services, Housekeeping and Concierge Managers to ensure high quality day to day operations for those departments • Is motivated to help and serve others (this is what gets them out of bed in the morning).

We are a leading full-service senior living community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services, and amenities. We are currently seeking the right individual to join our team as our Resident Services Director. As the Resident Services Director, you will have the daily opportunity to distinguish yourself by taking the time to be a positive presence in the lives of residents and their family members! You will be responsible for overseeing the Building Services (maintenance), Housekeeping, Resident Relations, Front Desk teams at our community. This includes giving direction to the Building Services, Housekeeping and Concierge Managers to ensure high quality day to day operations for those departments.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate will be someone who:

Position & Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or combination of education and hands on experience in facilities maintenance, hospitality operations management or a related field.
  • 7 or more years, depending on education, of experience in hospitality operations or facilities management.
  • 5+ years, experience managing staff.
  • Experience working with seniors
  • Experience in budget development and fiscal management.
  • Possession of valid Driver’s License. This is a salaried, exempt position with on-call status.
