The objective of the Client Executive role is to proactively control the experience of clients—making their future insurance needs/ experience predictable. You will accomplish this by becoming a strategic resource: a) through the delivery of solutions beyond price and insurance coverage, and b) by building deep relationships. You will respond to day-to-day questions/ enquiries; understand the client’s agenda; and give advantage to the client through lending your strong business acumen and your well-rounded knowledge of general business function, finance, and issues.
Reporting to the VP of Operations and working closely with the producers and department team, you will put the firm in a profitable and growth position by overserving our clients whose businesses are multi-faceted and require innovative solutions to complex scenarios/ situations. The client executive handles/oversees all aspects of the account, ensuring proactive and timely communication with all stakeholders.
Demonstrated superior skills in relationship building both internally and externally with a variety of stakeholders
Client-facing experience, i.e. in-person meetings, presentations
Level 2 License in good standing with AIC
Successful completion of C.I.P. or CAIB designation required
7-11 years’ experience within an independent commercial insurance business environment
Marketing expertise: business development with underwriting background (social/ field underwriting background an asset)
3-5 years’ experience within a team environment in a client sales and marketing position
Extensive knowledge of and strong relationships with insurance markets
Strong organizational skills in prioritizing work, multi-tasking, and consistently meeting deadlines
Results-orientated with a strong client service orientation and proactive in solving client needs with a sense of urgency in all client matters
Ideally, experience with The Agency Manager and Microsoft Suite
