FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE – GTA, ONTARIO, CANADA – # 3898

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently looking to hire a FIELD SALES REPRESENTATIVE for our Greater Toronto Area (GTA – Scarborough area) based manufacturing client.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

They are currently in search of a candidate who will be based in the GTA area working from your own Home Office servicing National Accounts mainly in the GTA area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is confident, polished, and professional and wants that opportunity to work from home but have all the support and first-class training to take your sales career to the next level.

The Field Sales role just does merchandising and training for national doors.

There is tons of room for growth and movement in the role for the right person.

You are talking to customers all day long and visiting retailers so you must have a valid class 5 driver’s license, clean driver’s abstract, car and be able to travel across the GTA region daily.

This is a marketing/sales position, serving a broad range of sophisticated retailers.

The successful candidate will be responsible for sales, sales training, merchandising, customer service, strategizing budgets and managing advertising funds

QUALIFICATIONS:

The successful incumbent will have 1 – 2 years business related experience.

A University Degree.

An enthusiastic attitude.

The willingness to learn.

Ability to work from your own home office.

Be self-motivated, self-directed and self-managed.

Confident and analytical.

Polished, professional and image conscious.

Furniture or Mattress background would be a definite asset.

Ability to connect with all levels of an organization.

Assess and diagnose RSA development and training needs – have the ability to read people and identify areas of development and comprehension of training/product knowledge.

Strong business acumen accompanied by a willingness to learn.

Ability to work from your own home office.

Strong organization skills, typically strong habits and disciplined.

Self-motivated, self-directed and self-managed.

Confident and analytical.

Your own vehicle.

Must be a communication expert – communicate up, down and laterally (ie. RSA, Store Manager, District Manager).

Interpersonal effectiveness with the ability to connect and read a variety of people.

Must be a team player.

Passionate and customer focused; a sense of professionalism that sets you apart from competitors.
