IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a MEDICAL DEVICE SALES CONSULTANT for our Edmonton, AB client.
Our client is a leader in inspecting and certifying medical gas systems and testing and repairing medical devices. They are a Standards Council Canada (SCC) Accredited Medical Gas Inspection Body and have operations in BC, AB, SK and the Northern Territories.
Reporting to the Director and Office Manager, this role will be on a Consultant Contract basis, based out of the Edmonton headquarters and will require travel when needed. It is not required to reside in Edmonton, however, it is preferred. Any of the three western provinces would suffice, but could depend on the increase of travel based on location.
Perform medical device sales and related calls
Arranged installation/client training when required
Maintain positive client relations
Solicit/procure sales for medical devices with public and private health care facilities
Gain new and maintain existing company contacts related to the position
Create call lists and sales reports
Be astute with record-keeping responsibilities
Assisted with upkeep of good supplier/manufacture relations
Communicate regularly with the Office Manager and Director
Manage upkeep on your portion of shared scheduler
Contribute with management to adjust device sales procedures
Travel as necessary
Biomedical Engineering degree and/or Biomedical Technician Certificate
Study/experience/credentials related to medical device sales and inventory
Technical experience and training with various health care related medical devices
A trusted and reliable sales representative in the health industry
Experience with Health Canada regulations, licensing and auditing processes
Minimum of 5 years of experience closely related to the above 5 points
Mature, honest, reliable
