IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently recruiting for a PERSONAL LINES SALES EXECUTIVE for our Edmonton, AB client.

Our client is currently looking for a motivated go-getter sales person to help us grow our VIP Personal Lines department. This department is an important component of our client’s complete and comprehensive insurance program to its top clients. Your passion to provide proactive, optimum personal lines coverage to VIP clientele is essential to your success in the role.


Initially, you will contact top clientele to open a conversation about personal lines insurance. You will support the processing of new and/or existing businesses. As your Book grows, your department and team size would also grow; your experience and knowledge would contribute to productivity and training.

Warm calling; grow a Book of Business specific to VIP Personal Lines

Interact with all levels within an organization, more importantly with c-level executives

Develop and drive operation processes and quality performance for the new Personal Lines department

Facilitates/ensures strong cross departmental relations and communication

Keep the customer’s needs and experience top of mind; follow client’s touchpoints protocol and timelines

Compile data and create reports

Manage and monitor key performance indicators


As the ideal candidate, you are an expert on personal lines insurance and you have a strong sales background. You have an exceptional ability to establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external parties, at all organizational levels. You have an entrepreneurial spirit that enjoys the challenges and rewards of developing a new department/program.

You are passionate about meeting the needs of the customer and derive much satisfaction in ensuring the client has the best possible coverage to meet their personal and commercial insurance needs.

You enjoy working as part of a team and you thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You enjoy selling. You are a logical thinker and have experience with process development.

You are detail oriented, very organized, and have an excellent ability to prioritize.

You have an entrepreneurial mindset with 3-5 years in a personal lines role

Level II General License; CIP designation an asset

Expert skill level with TAM

Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Interact comfortably and confidently with all levels within an organization, most importantly with c-level executives

Awareness/understanding of customer experience versus customer service

Organized and professional

Demonstrable experience in process development

Proven leadership

Demonstrable problem solving, analytical skills required

Excellent written and oral communication skills essential

Strong organizational skills required

Self-motivated and take initiative

Preference will be given to candidates with post-secondary education and an outstanding personality!
