IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is recruiting a SALES MANAGER – CONSTRUCTION & FORESTRY EQUIPMENT for our Edmonton, AB client.

Based in Edmonton, AB, the Sales Manager is responsible for sales growth and profitability for wholegoods.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Sales growth, profitability and achievement of market share goals.

Ensure the right mix of inventory to achieve sales and market share goals.

Achieve asset management goals of turn and aging as well as protection of company assets, including new and used wholegoods inventory.

Manage and develop Sales Department staff, building a motivated and successful workforce focused on long-term success for the company, customers, and employees.

Provide feedback and input into future opportunities and competitive pressures.

Assist in managing account receivables in conjunction with the Director of Credit Services and VPO of Operations.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 7+ years’ direct work experience in a sales management capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field would be an asset.
  • Experience in the heavy equipment industry would be an asset.
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with corporate departments, key business partners, and customers.
  • Confident decision-making skills in financial transactions, sales strategy, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • High level of critical and logical thinking, analysis, and reasoning.
  • Available to travel as needed and provide a recent driver’s abstract. Security Clearance Requirements
  • Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
  • Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to sit for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Ability to effectively communicate through various means.
