IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is seeking a SENIOR TOOL & DIE MAKER for a client in Bethlehem, PA.

Are you a master toolmaker with a passion for precision and problem-solving? We have a client looking for a Senior Tool & Die Maker to take ownership of building, maintaining, and optimizing progressive stamping dies for high-volume, tight-tolerance metal components.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your craftsmanship and troubleshooting skills directly drive production quality, efficiency, and uptime.

What You’ll Do:

Build & Assemble progressive stamping dies from blueprints, CAD models, and engineering specs.

Machine with Precision using CNC mills, lathes, grinders, and EDM equipment to fabricate and fit components.

Troubleshoot & Solve die performance issues on press lines—tackling root causes like part defects, misfeeds, or tool wear.

Maintain & Sharpen dies to minimize downtime and maximize production output.

Optimize Performance through die tryouts, inspections, and engineering-driven modifications.

Apply Expertise in GD&T, material specs, and stamping tolerances for flawless die performance.

Mentor & Lead junior toolmakers and apprentices in best practices for tooling excellence.

Collaborate Across Teams with engineers, operators, and quality staff to improve consistency and reliability.

Document & Track die maintenance, changeovers, and revisions with accuracy.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in progressive die stamping (automotive, appliance, or industrial environments preferred).
  • Proven ability to design, build, and troubleshoot multi-station progressive dies for high-volume production.
  • Skilled in both manual machining and CNC equipment (mills, grinders, wire/sinker EDM).
  • Strong understanding of die timing, punch alignment, carrier strip progression, and press setup.
  • Experience with high-speed presses, coil feed systems, and in-die sensors is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in CAD/CAM tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Mastercam).
  • A sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and commitment to safety and quality.
  • Certified Tool & Die Maker apprenticeship preferred.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green card holder.

Our client is a reputable dealership specializing in premium automotive brands. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician to join their team. If you are passionate about import brands and possess the qualifications and commitment to deliver exceptional customer service, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.  As a Certified Automotive Technician, your primary responsibilities will include: Performing routine vehicle maintenance and repairs as specified on repair orders. Diagnosing the source of malfunctions and conducting repairs in accordance with repair manuals and manufacturer standards. Ensuring that all vehicles are qualified for warranty coverage before initiating warranty repairs. Conducting thorough vehicle examinations to determine if additional work is necessary. Performing road tests, adhering to safe driving standards to evaluate vehicle performance and ensure the quality of repairs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:  

  • Valid Journeyperson Automotive Service Technician License.
  • Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
  • Prior dealership experience is required.
  • Experience with German brands is an asset but not mandatory.
  • Self-motivated, hardworking, and a team player.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with great attention to detail.
