Research and development work will include batch, continuous-batch and continuous mixing processes.

The candidate should be familiar with various designs of mixing processes including solid-solid, liquid-solid, liquid-liquid systems. Working knowledge of mixing fundamentals and design parameters for conventional mixing processes are essential.

In this role, the candidate will take responsibility for assigned projects from inception to completion. The candidate will generate project requirements to resolve product/process problems and to support development of new products/processes, initiate technical investigations, and prepare protocols. The position will require research and application of advanced chemical engineering theories, methods and research techniques in solution of complex and advanced chemical engineering problems.

The candidate will also be required to write reaction protocols, research reports, prepare grant proposals, and to periodically present work in a team setting and to customers, clients, investors, government organizations, and collaborators.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Actively participate in Rough Cut Capacity Planning meetings to ensure successful production planning and on-time customer delivery.
  • Lead Apollo-certified root cause investigations and ensure timely closure of actions within assigned areas of responsibility, while implementing sustainable corrective actions for identified issues.
  • Ensure procedures and checklists are consistently maintained, updated, and properly utilized.
  • Work with the Operations team to troubleshoot and resolve safety, quality, and production challenges.
  • Document best practices, lessons learned, corrective actions, and preventive actions within the plant’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ensure Unusual Incident Reports (UIRs) are logged, investigated, and actions are appropriately closed.
  • Support Operations and Packaging Managers in cost management and driving cost reduction initiatives.
  • Facilitate new product introductions and ensure the timely, safe, and cost-effective production of new campaigns, meeting quality standards.
  • Conduct site tours for customers and collaborate with the Quality team to reduce quality complaints.

Your Next Opportunity: Business Development Manager

In this role, you’ll take charge of client relationships, sales pipeline management, and contract negotiations, driving business growth while delivering exceptional service.

*This is an on-site position with requirements to be in the office when not traveling.

 

What You’ll Be Doing:

Conduct research to identify and prioritize new business opportunities, emerging markets, and industry trends.

Develop and implement strategic business development plans aligned with our marketing objectives.

Oversee the creation of compelling marketing materials to support sales efforts.

Mentor and guide Business Development Associates in crafting persuasive proposals and presentations.

Serve as the primary liaison between the company and potential/current clients, ensuring strong, lasting partnerships.

Assist with pre-construction activities, providing expertise throughout the sales process to project completion.

Support clients with budgeting and financial planning for upcoming projects.

Maintain and optimize the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system for seamless engagement tracking.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and professional networking groups.

Travel as needed to meet with clients and expand business opportunities.

 

What You Bring to the Team:

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. A minimum of five years’ experience in construction estimating, project management, or a similar role.

Communication Skills:

Strong verbal and written abilities to craft persuasive proposals and dynamic presentations.

Technical Proficiency:

Comfortable using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and CRM systems. Experience with Oracle is a plus.

Organization & Adaptability:

Able to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and navigate shifting project demands with confidence.

Team Player:

Self-driven with a proactive mindset, thriving in a collaborative environment while building strong client and internal relationships.
