This is a critical frontline leadership role responsible for overseeing mechanical maintenance execution across a high-hazard, highly regulated facility. The successful candidate will lead both internal teams and contractors, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality maintenance execution while driving reliability and operational performance.

Position Overview

Reporting into site leadership, the Mechanical Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day execution of mechanical maintenance activities, including preventative, corrective, and reliability-focused work.

This role oversees a workforce of 50–200+ craft personnel and contractors, ensuring all work is executed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory and operational standards.


Key Responsibilities

Field Execution & Safety Leadership

  • Lead daily mechanical maintenance activities, ensuring clear scope, procedures, and safety expectations
  • Champion a safety-first culture, enforcing LOTO, permit systems, JSAs, and critical safety standards
  • Conduct pre-job briefings, site walkdowns, and post-job reviews to ensure alignment and continuous improvement
  • Drive incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Ensure compliance with all SSHE, regulatory, and company safety standards

Mechanical Maintenance Oversight

  • Oversee execution of preventative and corrective maintenance across:
    • Pumps, compressors, piping systems, pressure vessels, and heat exchangers
    • Structural, civil, and insulation systems supporting cryogenic operations
  • Support troubleshooting, performance testing, and reliability improvements
  • Coordinate vendor and specialty contractor work including equipment overhauls, vibration analysis, and repairs
  • Ensure quality and compliance of inspection and testing activities (NDE, hydrotesting, corrosion monitoring, etc.)

Planning, Coordination & Reliability

  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Reliability, and Planning teams to prioritize and sequence work
  • Ensure job readiness including permits, materials, tools, and workforce allocation
  • Provide field input into maintenance planning, budgeting, and scheduling processes
  • Support Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSR)

Continuous Improvement & Performance

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, safety, and cost optimization
  • Monitor and act on key performance metrics including:
    • Preventative maintenance compliance
    • Work order completion
    • Backlog and risk trends
  • Identify and eliminate execution barriers to improve productivity and reduce rework
  • Champion Lean maintenance practices and operational discipline

Leadership & Team Development

  • Lead, coach, and develop mechanical technicians and contractors
  • Conduct performance reviews, provide feedback, and support ongoing skills development
  • Build a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, technical diploma, or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline
  • Minimum 7–10 years of experience in petrochemical, LNG, or heavy industrial environments
  • Minimum 5+ years in a mechanical maintenance leadership role
  • Strong experience with:
    • Mechanical systems (rotating and static equipment)
    • Maintenance planning and execution
    • Contractor management

Preferred Experience

  • LNG or gas processing facility experience
  • Cryogenic systems, refrigeration, and steam systems
  • Experience with gas turbines and compressors
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems (SAP preferred)

We’re seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to serve as a technical leader in the development of advanced electromechanical sensors and fluid management solutions used in some of the world’s most demanding aerospace environments. In this role, you’ll guide next-generation designs from concept through certification while mentoring engineers and advancing the organization’s engineering excellence.

What You’ll Do:

As a Senior Staff Engineer, you will lead the design, development, testing, and certification of aerospace-grade sensing technologies, including:

  • Pressure sensors and MEMS-based sensing solutions
  • High-temperature thermocouples and RTDs
  • Speed sensors and cabling assemblies
  • Fuel, lube oil, hydraulic, and wastewater level and temperature sensors
  • Fuel gauging systems, flowmeters, and flow switches

You’ll combine deep technical expertise with strong leadership skills to deliver robust, certified products that meet stringent aerospace requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end sensor design activities, from concept through production and certification

Mentor and coach early-career engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices

Collaborate across multidisciplinary teams to develop and deploy new technologies

Create detailed 3D models and assemblies using SolidWorks, including material selection and manufacturing methods

Author and review technical documentation such as design reports, FMEAs, test procedures, and qualification reports

Perform structural, thermal, fatigue, and dimensional analyses using hand calculations and FEA

Support proposal and bid activities through technical specification review and feasibility assessments

Serve as a technical authority in design reviews, ensuring rigor, quality, and compliance

Drive continuous improvement of the Design Engineering Body of Knowledge (BOK)

What We’re Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master’s preferred)
  • 15+ years of experience designing electromechanical sensing devices in a regulated industry (aerospace strongly preferred)
  • Proven experience with MEMS pressure sensor design, testing, and compensation
  • Experience designing for high-temperature, high-vibration, and harsh environments
  • Strong understanding of ASME Y14.5 GD&T
  • Familiarity with Design for Six Sigma tools and methodologies
  • Knowledge of aerospace standards and components (including awareness of DO-178 software considerations)
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 2020 or newer; experience with PLM/PDM systems (e.g., ARAS Innovator)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to partner effectively with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

We are seeking a leader in the petrochemical and fine-chemicals sector for an accomplished Maintenance Manager opportunity. This role involves leading a team of skilled professionals and technicians to ensure equipment operates with minimum downtime, while maximizing operational efficiency and equipment life. The facilities and plants include sophisticated and modern equipment like turbines, compressors, centrifuges, high pressure steam networks, DCS process control equipment, electrical equipment, and many more supplied by leading global manufacturers .

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Provide leadership and direction to the maintenance team, overseeing workforce planning, job scheduling, routine and emergency repairs, productivity improvements, technical support, training, and ongoing performance coaching.

  • Organize and coordinate maintenance work to ensure effective use of resources while limiting operational interruptions and maximizing asset availability.

  • Establish and enhance maintenance standards and practices, identifying opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency, and overall equipment performance.

  • Partner with internal stakeholders across operations, production, engineering, and supply chain to resolve issues, improve workflows, strengthen safety performance, and control operating costs.

  • Promote a strong culture centered on safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

  • Define, track, and analyze performance metrics to assess workforce effectiveness and equipment reliability.

  • Ensure consistent readiness and availability of plant assets through preventive, predictive, and reliability-focused maintenance strategies.

  • Lead investigations into equipment failures, conduct root cause analysis, and drive corrective and preventative actions.

  • Align maintenance priorities with operational needs by working closely with production teams to balance workloads and optimize resource deployment.

  • Direct spare parts and materials management, implementing inventory controls that reduce downtime while optimizing stock levels and carrying costs.

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable health, safety, and environmental standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance documentation, inspections, and repair records in support of internal policies and regulatory frameworks, including process safety standards.

  • Prepare and manage the maintenance budget, including forecasting, cost tracking, and identifying opportunities for financial and operational efficiencies.

  • Champion continuous improvement methodologies such as Reliability-Centered Maintenance (RCM) and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).

  • Develop and mentor apprentices, trainees, and operations personnel to strengthen technical capability, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.

  • Oversee engineering and construction initiatives related to capacity expansion and process improvements, partnering with project and construction teams through future growth phases.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical (or) Electrical Engineering.
• 15 years + of experience in maintenance within petrochemical and chemicals plants. Managerial experience is preferred.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team of maintenance professionals.
