QUALIFICATIONS:

BS, or MS Chemical Engineering

Work Experience:

15+ years of Chemical or polymer resin plant manufacturing experience, including operational roles

Demonstrated experience working with teams in a Leadership role

Demonstrated experience with requirements and use of PSM (OSHA 1910.119)

Note: prefer some background experience in plant turnarounds and start-ups.

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. (Chemical preferred)

8+ years’ overall experience in a “Process Industry” manufacturing environment. Experience with continuous processes ideal (petrochemical, chemical, ethanol, refining industries or related) but open to batch with relevant unit operations.

3+ years of operations supervisory experience.

Capital project management experience.

Process and equipment troubleshooting capabilities including distillation columns, hydrotreaters, industrial vessels, rotating equipment, control systems, instrumentation, piping etc.

Experience with EHS compliance, particularly Process Safety Management.

Has strong leadership and communication skills and willing to be a “Hands On” out in the plant working manager.

Must be authorized to work in Canada.

Should be viewed as promotable to a plant management role.

As the Engineering Manager, your responsibilities will include:

Overseeing supplies and capital purchasing programs and initiatives that effectively support plant operations and its Capital Expenditure program. Align goals and initiatives with North American and Global Procurement.

Overseeing controls engineering resources to ensure the overall instrumentation, control systems, and documentation systems are capable of supporting quality and production goals of the plant to meet business needs.

Manage the engineering and purchasing teams to drive continuous improvement and process innovation in order to meet or exceed production and cost goals that in turn lead to meeting or exceeding plan profit performance. QUALIFICATIONS:
