SENIOR PROCESS/PROJECT ENGINEER, GREENVILLE, NC, USA – #5718

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is seeking a SENIOR PROCESS/PROJECT ENGINEER for a client in the Greenville, NC area.  (Chemical Manufacturing)

Join a growing, innovation-driven manufacturing organization as a Senior Process / Project Engineer. In this key role, you’ll optimize plant operations, improve efficiency, and ensure safe, high-quality production.

 

What You Will Do:

Monitor and analyze production data to detect trends, variances, and optimization opportunities.

Troubleshoot process challenges and implement effective, lasting solutions.

Lead process improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve product quality.

Conduct and document production trials to validate process or equipment changes.

Review and approve operating procedures, process modifications, and safety analyses.

Collaborate on quality investigations, providing technical guidance and root-cause insights.

Train and mentor operations staff on new processes and standards.

Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and operational policies.

 

What We Are Looking For:

  • B.S. in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or related discipline).
  • 7+ years of process/project engineering experience in chemicals, fibers, or related process industries.
  • Strong foundation in process design, equipment sizing, mass & energy balances, and heat transfer calculations.
  • Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Sponsorship is not available for this role – candidates must be US Citizens or Green Card holders.
