This is an opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to lead a multi-disciplinary team across a complex industrial/mining environment while partnering closely with a respected leadership team.
The company is seeking a hands-on, high-accountability Maintenance Superintendent who can elevate preventive maintenance practices, improve equipment reliability, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across both mobile and fixed plant operations.

What You’ll Do:

This role is ideal for a strong maintenance leader who thrives in fast-paced industrial environments and enjoys building high-performing teams. The successful candidate will bring deep maintenance and reliability expertise, strong leadership presence, and the ability to drive safety, accountability, and operational excellence across multiple shifts.

Maintenance & Reliability Leadership
• Develop, implement, and continuously improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs
• Drive equipment reliability initiatives to minimize downtime and repeat failures
• Ensure maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with operational standards
• Oversee maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution for both mobile and stationary equipment
• Support project execution and plant improvement initiatives
Team Leadership & Safety
• Supervise and lead maintenance personnel across three shifts, including mechanics, electricians, and other skilled trades
• Foster a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with all safety procedures and programs
• Participate in on-call support as required
• Build and maintain a positive team environment and strong labor relations climate
• Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance team members
Operational & Financial Management
• Manage maintenance budgets and support cost-reduction initiatives
• Oversee spare parts inventory and storeroom management
• Utilize CMMS systems to improve maintenance tracking, planning, and reporting
• Lead continuous improvement efforts focused on productivity, reliability, and efficiency

What We’re Looking For:
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred; equivalent experience will be considered
• 10+ years of maintenance and reliability experience in an industrial or mining environment
• 7+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience
• 5+ years of mining experience preferred, with underground mining experience strongly preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices
• Experience managing both mobile and stationary equipment maintenance
• Proficiency with CMMS systems
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Self-starter with the ability to drive initiatives independently
Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Ability to climb ladders and work in industrial environments
• Must be able to wear required PPE
• Ability to work in varying temperatures and conditions
