THE OPPORTUNITY

IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently assisting our client, a growing industrial organization, in the search for a Workforce Operations Coordinator.

This is a unique opportunity for a highly organized, proactive professional who enjoys working with people while also improving the systems and processes that support a growing business.

The Workforce Operations Coordinator will serve as the primary point of contact for the company’s hourly Millwright workforce while supporting workforce development, business process improvement and the continued development of the company’s Management System (AMS).

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Support the recruitment, development and coordination of the hourly workforce.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for Millwright employees, supporting communication, engagement and workforce planning.
  • Coordinate onboarding, training and workforce development initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate workforce records and documentation.
  • Support the continued development and improvement of the company’s Management System (AMS).
  • Develop and standardize procedures, forms, templates, work instructions and operational documentation.
  • Partner with department leaders to identify and implement business process improvements.
  • Support document control, continuous improvement and the organization’s long-term ISO 9001 objectives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • 2–5 years of experience in workforce coordination, recruiting, business operations, administration, project coordination or a related role.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Operations Management, Project Management or a related field preferred.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience developing procedures, business documentation or management systems is an asset.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proactive, self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of an organization.
  • Strong planning, problem-solving and continuous-improvement mindset.
