IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is seeking a DISTRICT SALES LEADER ~ WESTERN CANADA (Medical Equipment).
The Opportunity
We are a health technology company focused on improving access to quality healthcare and helping improve the lives of patients and care teams. We are seeking a District Sales Leader, Western Canada to lead regional commercial performance, develop a high-performing sales organization, and strengthen strategic relationships with major healthcare customers.
This leader will own the regional sales strategy and be accountable for order volume, revenue, profitability, forecast performance, and operating plan delivery across Western Canada.
Field-based role – Fully Remote
Candidates must reside in, or within commuting distance of, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba, or Saskatchewan. Proximity to Vancouver, Calgary, or Edmonton is preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
Target Salary Range : $107,8000 – $169,400
The Total Cash Target (Base Salary + Variable Incentive) for this position is CAD $179,300–$240,900 annually. Total compensation may be higher or lower depending on individual performance.

What You’ll Do
Lead Regional Commercial Performance
- Develop and execute the Western Canada Regional Sales Strategy to achieve or exceed business goals, metrics, and expectations.
- Own regional performance across order volume, revenue targets, profitability, funnel, forecast, and Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Manage the region within established operational budgets and cost expectations.
- Maintain disciplined funnel and forecast management while driving balanced portfolio performance and competitive wins.
- Ensure Account Managers and Account Executives operate as a coordinated team to achieve total regional goals and objectives.
Build and Coach a High-Performing Team
- Develop and consistently apply effective coaching practices that strengthen individual and team performance.
- Set clear expectations and create accountability for sales execution and results.
- Coach the sales organization to effectively manage customer expectations throughout the sales process.
- Build an environment where Account Managers and Account Executives collaborate effectively across opportunities and accounts.
Strengthen Strategic Customer Relationships
- Build and sustain trusted relationships with senior stakeholders at major healthcare accounts.
- Lead and support executive-level selling, negotiation, and facilitation throughout complex sales cycles.
- Help the team navigate customer challenges and ensure issues are effectively resolved through established escalation processes.
- Maintain a strong understanding of customer priorities, market dynamics, competitive activity, and industry trends.
Mobilize the Organization Around the Customer
- Build a strong internal network capable of bringing the right expertise and resources to customers.
- Coordinate internal stakeholders to successfully structure and execute complex deals.
- Maximize the customer experience by presenting a coordinated, efficient One Company approach.
- Connect customer needs with the broader organization’s capabilities and product portfolio.
What We’re Looking For
Experience
- 10+ years of industry and/or sales experience, including experience with complex, bundled deals.
- 5+ years of sales management experience.
- Medical capital equipment experience is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated history of successful sales performance, including:
- Consistent over-quota performance
- Forecast accuracy
- Balanced portfolio performance
- Competitive wins
- Experience selling and negotiating with executive-level stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead top-performing sales teams.
Commercial & Financial Acumen
- Strong understanding of industry and market trends.
- Knowledge of relevant products and the company’s current product portfolio.
- Strong financial analysis capabilities, including the ability to work with measures such as ROI, NPV, and ROA.
- Strong negotiation, facilitation, and complex deal-management capabilities.
Education
- BS/BA in Business, Engineering, Associates, or equivalent experience.
