The Role
We are seeking two motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representatives to join our dynamic sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients in your assigned region (Central Ontario or Eastern Ontario).
Your expertise in technical sales, account management, and relationship building will be key as you work to meet and exceed sales targets while delivering exceptional customer service. Previous technical or B2B outside sales experience is an asset but not strictly required.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive new business and expand market presence
- Identify and qualify prospective customers through market research and outreach
- Manage leads, pipeline activity, and performance metrics using CRM tools
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular engagement and follow-up
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the sales cycle
- Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth delivery of products and services
- Provide technical sales support by understanding product features and tailoring solutions to client needs
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and networking opportunities
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in metalworking machinery sales or a related technical sales environment is preferred
- Solid understanding of the sales process, particularly in B2B or outside sales settings
- Proficiency with CRM systems for pipeline and account management
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills
- Effective negotiation skills and commercial acumen
- Ability to analyze market trends and adapt sales strategies
- Clear and confident communication skills, both written and verbal
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently
- Sponsorship is not available for this role – Candidates must be Canadian Citizen or have Permanent Residency status.
Experience
- Technical Sales: 5+ years preferred
- Manufacturing Equipment Sales: 1+ year preferred
- Outside Sales: 3+ years preferred
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50k/year + Commission on direct sales. (Commission/bonus can range to $100k in commission managing a mature territory)
- First Year Guarantee (Base salary + Commissions) of $80,000 per annum.
