IN DEMAND Recruitment & Consulting Inc. is currently seeking a Regional Packaging Sales Representative for our client, a growing corrugated packaging manufacturer supporting industrial, manufacturing, logistics, and distribution customers throughout the South Texas market. 8 ROLES IN TEXAS: HOUSTON (3), DALLAS (2) SAN ANTONIO/ AUSTIN (2), SOUTH TEXAS (1)

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly driven packaging sales professional with strong corrugated packaging experience and an entrepreneurial “hunter” mentality looking to take ownership of a high-growth territory within one of the strongest industrial corridors in the United States.

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting into Sales Leadership, the Regional Packaging Sales Representative will be responsible for developing and growing business throughout the South Texas market by targeting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, industrial, and food & beverage clients requiring custom corrugated packaging solutions.

The successful candidate will manage the full sales cycle while building long-term customer relationships and partnering closely with internal production and design teams to deliver customized, cost-effective packaging solutions aligned with customer operational requirements.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development & Territory Growth
• Develop and grow the South Texas territory through aggressive prospecting and relationship development
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within manufacturing, logistics, warehousing, industrial, and distribution sectors
• Build long-term relationships with key decision makers across target accounts
• Conduct in-person customer visits throughout Houston and surrounding South Texas markets

Sales & Account Management
• Manage the full sales cycle including:
• Prospecting
• Lead generation
• Needs assessment
• Quoting
• Closing
• Ongoing account management
• Develop customized corrugated packaging solutions based on customer operational and cost objectives
• Prepare RFQs, RFPs, pricing strategies, and product recommendations
• Maintain strong pipeline activity and accurate sales forecasting within CRM systems

Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner closely with internal manufacturing, design, and production teams to ensure successful project execution
• Coordinate customer requirements from quotation through production and delivery
• Support customers with packaging optimization and operational efficiency solutions

Market & Industry Awareness
• Maintain strong understanding of South Texas market conditions and competitive landscape
• Stay connected to key industries including:
• Industrial Manufacturing
• Energy
• Food & Beverage
• Distribution & Logistics

QUALIFICATIONS

Required
• Minimum 3+ years of corrugated packaging sales experience
• Strong background selling custom corrugated packaging solutions
• Proven business development success within the South Texas market
• Strong “hunter” mentality with ability to independently grow a territory
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and closing skills
• CRM and Microsoft Office proficiency

Preferred
• Existing relationships within Houston manufacturing, industrial, logistics, or distribution markets
• Experience supporting custom packaging solutions versus commodity packaging sales
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
